This Privacy Policy explains what information the BookyAI Blog at blog.bookyai.net (the "Blog") collects and how it is used. The Blog is run by the BookyAI team ("we", "us", "our").

1. The short version

You can read the Blog without creating an account. The Blog does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers, and it counts visits without cookies. We do not sell personal information.

2. Information we collect

• Server logs: like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the Blog secure and working, and are kept for a limited time.
• Visit statistics: to learn which articles help readers, the Blog counts visits with its own statistics, without cookies and without sharing anything with third parties. For each visit we record the page, the website you came from (for example a search engine), whether the screen is a phone or a computer, how far down the article you read and whether you clicked the BookyAI offer. To count unique visitors without knowing who they are, your IP address and browser type are combined with a secret that changes every day and turned into a one-way code. The IP address itself is never stored, and the codes are deleted after two days.
• Search statistics: Google Search Console shows us, in aggregate, how often the Blog appears and is clicked in Google search results. It contains no information about individual readers.
• Emails you send us: if you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

3. Cookies

Visitors of the Blog receive no cookies from us. A single session cookie is used only for the private admin area, by the people who manage the Blog.

4. Third parties

Pages are served by our hosting provider. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so reading the Blog does not send your data to font or script providers. If you follow a link to another website, such as bookyai.net or Amazon, that website's own privacy policy applies. The BookyAI sales website and the BookyAI software have their own Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact privacy@bookyai.net and we will respond as required by applicable law.

6. Children

The Blog is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

7. Changes

If we add features that collect more data (for example a newsletter), we will update this policy first. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
